Day 1

Arrive at Entebbe Airport - Entebbe Hotel

On arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be met and welcomed by a representative who will be your tour and driver guide for the rest of your stay in the country. After the interaction and brief introduction, you will be transferred to your hotel in Entebbe for an overnight stay.

Day 2

Entebbe to Kihihi - Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Entebbe - Kihihi - Bwindi National Park

Morning pick up from your hotel in Entebbe and transfer to the airport for your flight to Kihihi Airstrip. On arrival at the airstrip, you will be welcomed by your lodge guide who will drive you straight to your lodge for the rest of the day. In the afternoon, participate in a community walk around the park, then return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Bwindi Forest National Park - Gorilla Tracking

Start the day with an early breakfast at your lodge, then transfer to the park headquarters for briefing depending on the booked accommodation location. Gorilla trekking takes place in four sectors within Bwindi Forest: Buhoma and Ruhija on the northern side, and Rushaga and Nkuringo on the southern side. After briefing, begin the trek. Searching for gorillas may take about 2 to 5 hours depending on where they were last spotted the previous day. Once found, you will be given one hour to take videos and photos and ask the rangers and guides questions about the giant apes. The forest is also home to other wildlife and bird species including butterflies, primates, mammals and frogs. After seeing the gorillas, return to your lodge and retire for the rest of the day.

Day 4

Bwindi to Entebbe

Bwindi - Entebbe Airport

After morning breakfast, depending on the time of your domestic flight, you will be driven back to the airstrip by the lodge guide to catch your flight out of Bwindi back to Entebbe. On arrival at the airport, connect with your onward flight to your next destination.
